Information Collection and Use

I, Martin S Pearson, am the sole owner of the information collected on the Lyndenlea websites. I collect personally identifiable information from users on each website through various pages, such as the Feedback page. I use this information to respond directly to your questions or comments, and to improve these and other websites that I own and control.

Communications From These Websites

I will only communicate with you by email, in repsonse to your questions or comments. Out of respect for your privacy, I present the option not to receive such a response. Please see Choice and Opt-Out below.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Information is not collected by or shared with third parties through these websites.

I reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when I believe that disclosure is necessary to protect my rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on the Lyndenlea websites.

Choice and Opt-Out

I provide you with the opportunity to "opt-out" of having your personally identifiable information used to respond to your enquiries, when I ask for this information. In addition, I provide you with the opportunity not to supply your personally identifiable information at all, should you not wish to do so.

Log Files

As is true of most websites, I gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes date/time stamp, page viewed, referring page, and Internet Protocol (IP) address.

I use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyse trends, to administer the websites and to compile usage statistics. I do not link this automatically-collected information to personally identifiable information.

A subset of the usage statistics compiled from this information is accessible on the Statistics page.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. A session cookie expires when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your computer for an extended period of time.

I use cookies to enable you to customise the appearance of the Lyndenlea websites. I do not use persistent cookies without first seeking your permission. I do not link the information I store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit whilst on the Lyndenlea websites.

If you reject cookies, you may still use these websites, but your ability to use some features of the websites will be limited.

Third parties do not use cookies on these websites.

Links to Other Websites

These websites contain links to other websites that are not owned or controlled by me. Please be aware that I am not responsible for the privacy practices of such other websites.

This Privacy Statement applies only to information collected by the Lyndenlea websites. I encourage you to be aware when you leave the Lyndenlea websites, and to read the Privacy Statement of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.

Access to Personally Identifiable Information

If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire me to be in possession of it, you may request that it is updated or deleted by contacting me using the contact information below. See Contact Me.

Security

The security of your personal information is important to me. I follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to me, both during transmission and once I receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, whilst I strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, I cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Business Transitions

In the event that one or more of the Lyndenlea websites goes through a business transition, such as amalgamation with or acquisition by another website, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. You will be notified via a prominent notice on each of the Lyndenlea websites for 30 days of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

I reserve the right to modify this Privacy Statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If I make material changes to this statement, I will notify you here, by means of a notice on the Home page under "Latest Site News" (and by assocation, in the Site News Archive) on each of the Lyndenlea websites, and in other places I deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information I collect, how I use it, and under what circumstances, if any, I may disclose it.
